Welcome to Riverside Fuchsias -
Holders of the National Collection
Riverside
fuchsias are a small family-run nursery, built up over 25 years on old
watercress beds in the Darenth valley. It is now sandwiched between the rear of
agriculture machinery suppliers {Ernest Doe's} and the National Trust property,
St John's Jerusalem {with restricted opening hours} and attractive lakes and
woodlands owned by the North-West Kent Angling and Preservation Society. Many
of our customers {and ourselves} think of Riverside as a little oasis, tucked
away, as we are down a quiet lane and yet only 10 minutes from the Dartford
crossing and the M 25.
The business is perhaps best known for its fuchsias the
range stands in excess of 1000 varieties including the national collection
However a good range of geraniums has also been collected { though we do not
now issue a catalogue }. Throughout, we aim to offer a friendly, personal and
efficient service, with good quality plants for sale at reasonable prices.
We hope you enjoy browsing through our catalogue and may even feel prompted to
send us an order... better still, come and visit us one day! We always welcome
visitors who come to see the national collection and the stock plants
especially when they are in flower, finally we endeavour to supply only what we
consider to be the best varieties available. If there is a variety you are
seeking which does not appear on our list, then please do not hesitate to ask-
we have limited numbers of additional varieties available from time to time.
